To whom this may concern,

We are students from LaSwap Sixth Form and we are currently studying A2 Media Studies at Acland Burghley School. Our project from the ‘Film’s Cool’ workshop is called ‘Imagine the Movie’ where we use an Ivor Novello Award winning song as a theme to create a horror trailer - In particular, we would like to use ‘The A Team’ by Ed Sheeran. This song has inspired us to write a magnificent plot for our trailer because the lyrics of the song. We are requesting if we may legally use this song for educational and non-commercial use as the soundtrack for our trailer. In addition, we would also like to edit the song to make it sound more horror appropriate since this song is a soft, acoustic song and doesn’t sound very dissonant and frightening. We would really appreciate if we could use this song for our project and we will make sure that you and Ed Sheeran would see the end result when it’s completed.
